Why did you enter the nonprofit field?
I grew up going on mission trips and I always loved the feeling of giving back, you're giving of yourself, but always receive so much more. When I left the corporate digital marketing world, I knew I wanted to take what I had learned and provide it to the nonprofit industry.
Favorite charity?
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals for their incredible Dance Marathon program teaching college kids about philanthropy and giving to local Children's Hospitals. New Story for their innovation and brilliant branding.
Where you grew up and any interesting details about your childhood.
Sarasota, FL >> Ironically I was a figure skater growing up in Florida.
Something you think people get wrong in philanthropy.
That it's any different than the for-profit industry
What are you most passionate about in your business?
The digital world is always evolving so I love researching what's new and bringing those learnings to the nonprofit space. I've realized I also really enjoy connecting with other brilliant people in the space and lifting them up to teach in areas that I'm not knowledgeable. I'm really passionate about helping as many nonprofits as possible to elevate their online presence and believe that digital marketing works to attract new donors and raise more funds.
