Scholarship Awards

You will be notified via email once you meet our minimum eligibility AND following available funding. Scholarship funding covers 100% of the annual membership cost.

At the completion of the year, the membership will auto-renew at regular price. We’ll email you in advance to give you a heads up. If you cannot afford regular price, we encourage you to submit a new scholarship application.

What are the eligibly requirements?

To be eligible, scholarship recipients must currently be employed OR serve as a volunteer for a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, NGO or international mission.

What happens after I apply?

As soon as scholarship funding is available, we’ll contact you via email to activate your membership. Best day ever!

Please know if you do not activate your membership within 7 days, your scholarship award will be passed along to the next available applicant on the waiting list. Of course, contact us at pro@weareforgood.com if you have a unique circumstance. We’re here for you!

Can I meet my scholarship donor?

You bet! We believe in the power of philanthropy - and so our team will connect you to your angel investor, so they know where you are in the world and how you're working to positively influence humanity with your mission. And like any great scholarship program, we’re dedicated to showing the impact of that gift through an annual Impact Report. But we’d also love it if you would employ some seriously awesome creativity to thank them - bonus points for the handwritten card or heartfelt video.

Our Scholarship Why?

You might be wondering why we fought hard to add a scholarship portion to Pro. You see, we think education is for everyone. And while we’re committed to providing the best training in our sector, we’re also committed to ensuring it’s accessible to all. Our #1 core value as a company is Everyone Matters. We believe you matter, and what you have to give to your mission matters. We believe being inclusive matters. 

So if you’re a person who wants to be sharpened, we’re committed to finding the funding to make it happen. Also, when we say we have a heart for the little nonprofit, that’s not just lip service. We understand tight budgets (been there!) and also realize professional development is typically the first thing cut from a nonprofit’s budget. We don’t want finances to stand in the way of you becoming the best professional for your mission.

Our ultimate goal is to build an Impact Uprising that revolutionizes the nonprofit industry through profound compassion, best-in-class education/training, authentic storytelling and crazy good marketing while placing every person on the same level playing field. And we simply didn’t want to do it alone. So we asked our for profit friends and fellow Do gooders to come along with angel funding to make these scholarships possible. We love the idea of everyone locking arms to improve our world for the better.

So here’s the linchpin of our Why? We’re doing this because we believe Community is Everything (core value #8!). We want you to know that when you walk through our virtual Pro doors, you know you have a group of people who have your back and are rooting for and investing in you. Feels good, doesn’t it? That’s the goal.
